A friend of mine started his own blog and posted a good article (with many references) on the whole TSA security screening controversy.
As anyone who has watched the news during the past week knows, the TSA has implemented new search procedures. Of these methods, the AIT machines (which come intwo flavors) and the enhanced pat down have been causing a great deal of controversy.
For the unwashed, the complaints surrounding the AIT machines are twofold:
1) The machines have not been adequately safety tested.
2) The machines produce a somewhat nude image of the person passing through.
